Hari Raya can never be much fun as ever as this year!!

Raya with the Primary school kids can never be much fun and gereks like that. Even after 8 years of leaving primary school, we actually pull up our socks and handphones plus friendster to search for all the primary docks. And yes, I think we did a great job, just too last minute. Eeekk!! I know I made loads of blunders and mouth too laser *Looks at Ain too*, but hey, I did minta maaf at the end of it all eh. And thanks to Sabri for driving us around, mlm2 buta to Braddell and send each of us back home safely. Tgk la sape yg pujuk mcm nk rak! Awak2 sume never say thank you to me ok! Sedih.. Niways, Awak are so suueet la, ehem, depan Bad je..

Syahrul Afif came over also, yes, for Raya!! And he clicked so well with the siblings, even though he made really lame and tak-menjadi jokes, sumpah!, but still, appreciate for coming over ya! *winks*

The most exciting was the childhood makciks came over but without the childhood friends, because the childhood friends were schooling or at camp, which was terribly upsetting. And talking with Cik Ita and Cik Ju can never be much fun, with the lasers and reminiscing about zaman2 dulu, and what is happening to them now. And Syimir!! Cik Ita windu kau la.. She was saying, "Kurus camne agaknye si syimir skrg eh." Huahua.. Guess what I reply la?? "Dulu Syimir terlampau cute, now die cume cute je."

And a few days back, we the secondary school jocks went jalan raya also!! Last minute! Walaupun hanye segelintir manusia sahaja, tapi it was tetap gerek kan?? Yes, it was!! With Tasha bawak cards, and we were cursed by Mee Goreng-s and ayam goreng-s.. And lepak-ing at Kamil's house till late, just to crite hantu! Aahh!! Sumpah I cannot sleep 2 straight nights after that.

Jalan Raya with the Primary school Kids,
*Sab!! Ain!! you owe me gambars!!*
Sab behind the wheels, with Bad
Thank you..

Syahrul Afif,

The childhood Makciks,

Secondary school friends,
Selamat Hari Raya and Happy Deepavali!

Oh!! I forgot one more, most important thing...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELEKTRA!!

ALL THE BEST WISHES FROM SUE DD TO YOU!! MUACKS!!

I just loved yesterday.

My Fa-Hah-Su-Din came!! well, minus the Fa la, which will be next week.

Oh, I lovey-lovey love them...

And Amin dropped by too... which extremendously fabulous and funny to have him around. Minus the fact that we haven't contacted each other like ermm, eons back..

Still... we clicked, we talked and we settled our differences and it was A-okay! *winks*

And somehow, I felt that I did so many wrongs towards him, that towards the end, when we did our "Maaf Zahir dan Batin" thing, mcm tersedar gitu "Banyk dosa aku bt kat die..".

But, perkara yang berlalu biarlah berlalu.. Not like someone kan, suka nah ungkit perkara lame.. Yelah, mak i kate, tak baik ungkit perkara, tak sihat. *glares at that someone* (sape makan cili, terase lah pedas nye ye..)

Raye pics more to come la...

These are just a few..

tata.. Assalamualaikum.

These memories..

woohoo!! can i say I'm back??

I think I haven't been gone too long..

2 weeks in to Hari Raya, and 2 weeks left!

So for those yg blum raya ke rumah2 yg tertentu, you have 2 weeks left k.

I'm sidetracking abit for I have reports to do (I'm 4 weeks behind and I'm very lucky VP hasn't asked for it yet!).

Did I say I went to Tekka Market 3 times in a row?? haha!! Back to my roots la babe! After err.. 20 years.

So I did buy my Churidar (is it spelt this way? Ok, watever.. Punjabi!). And it was so grand-ily too over! I think I might steal that limelight for the bride herself! Kwakwa!!

And did I say I loved it?!?!? Yes, I loved it!!

I had my sisters followed me the 3rd time! For which they also bought the Punjabi suit and it was so nice la!! And we do look Indian (or perhaps trying to be!), especially my 2 youngest sisters, especially Ayu!! Basically that sister of mine has most of that mama blood, perang hair, big and almond eyes, too many hair over the body, that sort of thing!

I had my brother's friends coming over for Raya last 2 days. They have all grown so big!! It seems like yesterday, they were in primary one but now, they are sec 1!! With the styled hair and the ke-mat-an-ness.. So typical of boys that age!

Mama was asking about his grandmother, where she lived and all.

Mama: Nenek dekat mane sekarang?

Fadli: Nenek kat umah tengah sembahyang.

Everyone laughed! I swear, I was in the kitchen and I almost broke that jug!

Mama was asking about his brother's school and well-being.

Mama: Adik masih naik transport pegi skola?

Fadli: Aah, adik naik transport. *pause* Naik public transport.

Haha!! I just can't stand that boy la.. So the loyar buruk-ness!!

But he is cute.. I think all of them are cute!!

Marking day is coming up and exams are next week!! And judging from the papers, I have a big feeling, most just can't make it.

Oh!! A tip from Azri to people who are looking for a partner in life..

"Biar muka tak lawa and badan gemuk, asalkan hati baik dan boleh provide.."

Mama laughed like crazy when he told her this!

Oh!!
Raya was gereks!!
"Cos I've been living in a rainbow, living in a rainbow, colours everywhere..." *sings to Hi-5*

It was pretty colourful with greens, whites, blue and maroon. Each of us look exceptionally prettay!!

Tell me, how is it not fun and good when hanging out with old friends?? It just always does.

Singing, pissing people off, dancing, which seems embarassing to some (I can't help it if I'm high and mad over heels on that day. Right, Azri??)

And look who dropped by Fid's house for MacDelivery?? As girls expecting boys, nope. It was a boy, but boy we know him.. And he looks preetty chubby!! I think too much MacDonalds ya..

Hanging out at Dollah's house, where sumpah kite (Diana and me!) tak sengaja.. Just making a fool of ourselves, making the house riuh-rendah. I think we kind of embarassed ourselves and might have learnt that lesson of keeping that mouth.. just shut! hehe.. Niway, the nuggets were great!!

Selamat.... selamat.. Hari raya.... hari raya..

Hahah!!

It comes once a year, might as well enjoy the whole month.

Niways, nice dancing!! *winks at azri and fid*

I know this is a tad too late but...
SELAMAT HARI RAYA.

MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN.

And here goes details from Hari Raye, the first 2 days, I believe.

It was the day of happiness for the Family, which didn't turn out as happy as we want it to be.

But, the motherly side of the family had a blasting time together.

With Kak Suhaida whom we see like, once a year, due to some family ties crisis was the most gerek, going-on Kak sedara we can ever asked for. And yes, Abg Ek2 and me, whom when gets together, tends to be half of that child-like any 20 yrs and above can be.

Snap, snap!!

Lots of a year updates and loads of dirt came out, which we don't even know. But hey, cousins are like that when we get together. Our dirt are mostly exposed by the makciks2 and pakciks2.

Plus, the upcoming marriage of Kak Yaya, will be the most meriah and look forward to wedding of the year. Woohoo!!

2nd day of raya was the fatherly side of the family.

It was nice, getting together with that side of the family. It was kecoh, it will always be keoch with my dad around. His mouth just won't stop and keeps teasing ppl, which won't seem a surprise when Mami Absah took it on a wrong note.

It was a quiet moment between me, Meme and MakSar. Kak Mai and Abg Awol is getting married in just 2 1 month and next in role, as MakSar say, will be us two.

"Simpan duit cukup2, jgn harapkan mak bapak je, jgn buat org kat sebelah sana tunggu lama2.."

Well, like I said to her, "Kat sini yang akan tertunggu2, bkn kat sana!"

Huahuahua.. Are all most my paternal aunts like this?? I think, I heard that so many times being said to us.

So what I felt about these two days??

It was just well-spent with the family love!

My homely loves..

My Family Potrait of 2007

My motherly Makciks, pakciks and cuzzins..

My fatherly family, excluding I think 15 more of them.

For a start, I believe I owe this blog of mine, almost 2 weeks of life.

Yes.. Its almost dying of details.

Let this be the entry of friendship, then tonight will be the entry of raya and tomorrow morning will be the entry of ties and relationships.

Okay?? OKAY.
May I declare, yesterday on the 17th of October 2007, it was dear Amalina's 20th Birthday!! Wohoo!!

So I would like to wish her a HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY!! With all the best wishes and the good things in life that is for her. Love, from me, Sue. We hope you loved your present! Because it is very Expensive, expensive which comes from the heart. Like we say, kite nie besar hati org nye.

We had loads of laughter and teasing and lots of pissing from Dee, and reminiscing of the past. We do miss them memories and those times. And how much we panic and suffer because of a bracelet (dee lost that friendship bracelet and I lost that 16 bdae present bracelet!! I cried la ok!! tsk, tsk). Well, nevertheless of the hard times, we still pull it out and we are still as united and manis semanis-manis madu lebah! hehe

Pics from yesterday and buka luar last week at Breeks (i do owe lots of pics.. eek!)
p.s: I will put all the buruk pics cos I know dee will put all the lawa2 pics.

The prezzie!!

Pics from the above!!

Total hugs from the sweetness.. Aww!!

Have you ever felt like crying and breaking down, but you don't know why??

Hmm.....

Ok, I'm very weird like that.

But I did break down very bad and ugly yesterday night.

I did what I feel I should do and all I asked for was a short reply and a positive one at that. But as per normal, sometimes things like this aren't always going my way.

And I know, I shouldn't be wailing about it, because what was the point? It was just a plain damn thing right?? Right.

I miss my hair... Very random but, I miss my hair.. N friends, especially those I havent seen since 24th June. *looks away pretending not to look at them*

I'm starting to have low memory back-up.

I only haven't log in blogger for a week, and I forgot my pasword. It took me 3 attempts to gain entry into my dashboard.

Sue, sue... *shakes head*

I'm totally almost (but not yet) broke!! After helping out the family for Raya, buy this and buy that, and those stuff which I'm helping out for those little who knows, yes, I'm almost broke.

But no worries, my pay is next week! and the civil servant advance pay (which I might most probably get.. *cross fingers*) will be tomorrow!

On Saturday, I will be mengecat-ing my room, with the help of Mr Incredible (Azri lah makne tu) and dusting off all the habuks and the hapaks in the room. But most probably, I will be relek-ing one corner and let Mr Incredible do the job! And little Miss Daredevil here will just ordering him here and there. "U sane tak kene cat u, U!! You tak mop betul u, U buang kan barang nie kat bawah.." Huahuahua!! I just love moments like this.... which basically comes once in a blue moon. I still remember how I made him chase after a karang guni man and make him carry all my magazines to sell to the karang guni.

And insyaallah, while he is mengecat-ing the room for me, I will be tempting him with smell of freshly baked walnut brownies, which I know he loves. Ok, Me and my evilistic ways!

Ask me how I am.....

I am fine!!! thank you so much for asking.. *exaggerated response* (if you know what I'm like, you would most probably know how I would react)

I'm in my own world of working school life most days. I rejected most of my iftars outside, with friends or cousins or colleagues. And, again, I am so SORRY, especially to those which I cancelled at the very last minute that the other party has already reached the designated place. *90 degrees bow*

Eh!! Have you heard of the new single by my forever favourite band since I was 8?? Inconsolable by Backstreet boys from the album 'Unbreakable'.

I wanted to post about it like a month ago but it just totally slipped my mind. And Kevin, the one I adore of all, is not part of the band anymore. I totally grieved for his disbandment. tsk, tsk..

Alright, enough said, I need to go off for my PSLE now. Those P6 children are having a whirlwind hell of a time despite exams. Children in this school are sometimes different from others but yet, very predictable.

May I declare,

Today will be the last day I will jejak Geylang in the month of Ramadan!!

I'm so sick of going there, when there is so many people, filled mostly with all the M&M-es!!

And yes, I saw that Minah Rep-ist finally!!

And please eh, even though I have only seen her in friendster, I would recognise her anywhere. I'm so sad that you didn't see her but I did!! *Haiyak, haiyak, haiyak!!*

And it was so hot and stuffy la!! Kate Geylang kan..

If only Bazaar Geylang had feedback forms for customers, I would suggest they put lots of ceiling fans with high power at the top of the bazaar!! I would be most thankful!!

And seeing my students at the bazaar, no no no good!! "Miss Suhaila!!"

Oh please.. *smack head*

Childrens' Day was a killer man!!

Gamelan was a success! Thanks to Mr Khamis and his lovely disciple, Shaik!! After 3 weeks and only 6 practices, we teachers did well!! Huahua!!

I will never dance to High School Musical on stage!! Never, never, never, ever!

Because I was cheerio and happy, and that may lose a bit of my management in class! Especially 4/5!

I get 10 yrs older, whenever I enter that class. *searching for my SKII*

I'm going seberang tambak tomorrow!! Woohoo!!!

It has been almost a week..

And I think its time for another crap update of mine!
(My P5 student say whatever I write in here is crap!! haha, very funny my dear..)

School has been busy but.... gereks!

Except for a few very bad experiences yesterday!

I'm still just connecting with my P4-es!!

I think, they are just plain.. mischievious.

Is this how u spell it?? I know, embarassing.. An English Teacher who do not know how to spell mischievious. Sheesh!!

My P3 and 2 are very cute!

One P3 kid,

"Are you fasting today??"

"Saya puasa tapi saya dah buka. (Time: 11.30am)."

Another P3 kid answered,

"Nari saya tak puasa, besok saya puasa."

Next day,

"Are you fasting today, Danish??"

He gave me the same answer. Today not fasting, tomorrow will do..

Haha!! Very cute!!

My P5-es were taught 8-point compass today. So as a group work, they are asked to come out with the directions as they command and a volunteer will come out.

So there is this group,

"90 degrees clockwise, 90 degrees anti-clockwise, take 3 steps, face south........"

And I was wondering, why they are making him walk out of the classroom..

Little did I know, they were giving him directions to the boys' toilet..

Haha!! *smacks forehead*

And another was being funny.

"Nee Jian, where are the books??"

"45 degrees clockwise, take 5 steps, 45 degrees anticlockwise."

Ah, very good! I, as the teacher took it positively. As least I know they understood the topic.

And its the first time, I smack the white board with the duster to make the class shut. And I hit it hard! What do you expect, my blood was boiling. And using Dillion's trick, I actually (I still can't believe I did it!) took my marker and aim it at my P4, but it was just to scare him. Imagine if it hit him!! I think I will lose my job. Pfft!

And Its children's day on Friday!!! *sings "together, together, together everyone!"*

I can't wait!!! And yes, I will be smacking my bonang hard!! I will make sure of it!

*banging my head hard*

It has been almost a week yar since i actually log on and type stuff in here!!

After 3 days of working and staying back in school until 6 to finish up my work, I am in serious fatigue!

I was actually the first teacher to cabut after school ended!

I didnt even bother to sign out, I just grab my bag, my marking papers and zoomed out of the school quickly. I wasn't even planning to stay behind.

No no, not today!!

Just heck that teachers' sharing session! I'm tired enough!

Now, I can feel the kestressan of a teacher's life. And, the thing is, I am only holding half of the workload!

I wonder, how I will cope next year, being solo! No mentor, no help, just all on my own!

Monday, I had lessons from 7.30am to 1.30, with only half an hour of break. 11 teachers were absent, so basically, all teachers had to do relief!! And since my Monday timetable was so not hectic, I get all the relief, mostly! At 2pm, I had remedial!! Mathematics, with my comedic-wannabes! Until 3.30 pm, but due to some behaviourial problems, I released them at 3.45pm.

My lesson observation went ermmm... ok, I wasn't that perfect!! I had many to improve, my lesson plan was not well done (I didnt have a master copy ok!), my comedian-wannabes was very comedic that my class management points was cut off!

My day doesnt end there! I had netball practice, with my girls at 3.30pm but eventually, I was late! Luckily, my girls did all their warm up first while waiting for me. It was netball playing for an hour and half, until 5pm.

When you think it ends there, hahaha, you are wrong! I still had to mark my papers, print out this and that, photocopy this and that! *smacks forehead*

Until eventually around 6pm, I had Azri picked me up from school and off to Geylang for our buka puasa.

Tuesday was another busy day. I had my 3 periods with all my 3 classes, which seems very, very draggy!

After which I was doing my lesson preparation and planning, and finding teachers and settling all admin stuff, my Maths room exploring. And guess what?? I went home at 4pm.. By that time, I was... Bleak!! Mentally stressed out!

Yesterday was more of a torture!!

Lesson observation was pretty ok! I was so mentally, physically and emotionally prepared that I skipped two periods of English. (I had someone took over my class actually..)

After which, I had CT. It was soooooooooo draggy and long!! We started at 1.30pm, with the SmartBoard workshop, the it was the Learning centre, and by 4.30pm, it hasn't even ended. But we left earlier, for gamelan practice. I heard CT ended almost at 5pm.

And yes, Gamelan!! We ended practice almost at 6pm. So I was basically tired out after that. I went home, I still had to prepare those lessons, do some sourcing around, tesselate here and there. Haiz.

And mind you, Next week will be an addition. The rehearsals and my high school musical practice plus another observation. Can I cry now??

But as consolation, as least today and tomorrow, I will not be busy. In fact I had 3 hrs of free periods just now.

Just an hour of relief, and mind you, the Primary 3-s are very cute! I came in to class, basically half of them were crying.

Why??

They failed their English test! My favourite boy, Chacha, was crying for the first time. I took a while to console him.

How??

"Chacha.. don't cry ok. Try harder for your exams. Nari chacha puase kan?? Kalo nangis batal tau puase. Nanti kene ganti puase."

"Chacha tak nak ganti puasa..." *wipes tears and smile weakly*

That boy, I know, very cute!!!

Things children do, which tickles me and adore them more...

What you see, isn't always what you get.
Sometimes, there is more to it than that.

Why can't you ask me what I want or feel?

And btw, Sarcasticity don't work that well on me, fyi.
