Friday, November 28, 2008

I decided to bring my boyfriend to Selera restaurant.

Since he has been layan-ing my cravings, sumpah very menyusahkanaku cravings..

like..

Sayang, I nak mkn mee hoon goreng kat beach rd, Sayang I nak cheese bun from changi, Sayang I nak pizza from Bedok Corner, Sayang food this, Sayang food that..

He has been craving for Duck Rice since forever and it seems there was no halal one nearby.

So, I decided to be that good, girlfriend misali and surprised him with Duck Rice.
I actually googled okay!

Thanks to puteri-berendam, I finally found a halal Duck Rice shop.

And peopleeee.. Duck is actually much nicer, juicy and tastier la!

Sungguhsedaps.com.sg!

And of course, the boyfriend was happy.. Well... he better be!!

Andandand.. the beancurd hotplate I ordered was also sumptuous.

It's different and reallyreallyreally delicious.

Then, starts our SHOPPING ESCAPADE!!

We walked all the way to Sungei Rd for cheapcheap deals.

Sumpah the handphones were cheap but!!!!

I don't know whether it will last long or not.

Sheesh!!

Walked all the way to Bugis, for my skirts and his sweater.

His sweater was seriously a BIG STEAL!!

Next, EXPO!!

Expo was the BOMB!!

With the SITEX exhibition, taking over 2 halls and John Little sale..

And of course, both of us conquered the John Little Sale first.

Snap up all the t-shirts, his office shirts, boxers, blablabla..

Total spent: close to a $100.

Me: Wow!! My sayang spent a $100 today!!

Him: *rolls eyes* Once in a while what!

For your info, my boyfriend is a thrifty miser. Haha!

He does not go shopping for his own use.

His clothes, dressing.. I've been taking care of that since we got together..

I will either buy his clothes for him when I see something nice or I will forcefully draaaaggg him out on a shopping spree when I think he needs one!
(So, woman.. You don't msg, "this fashion suit you.." okay?? Next time, do take care of your boyfriend's dressing. Too bad, you did not!!)

Even his perfumes, I have to force him to buy!

So today, was his first un-forced spree.. *Yeah!! big applause please*

So now, today is over.

Tomorrow!! Sentosa!!

And we are taking the car out!!

Did I tell you I love that Suzuki Swift??
Too bad..
Our plans for a "baby" is after the next 4 years.
Okay now..
Toodles!

Peektures..

Duck Rice.
Chicken Rice.

Its the 1st time in my life i'm actually blogging..

People always say that they know what they are doing until....

SOMETHING goes WRONG somewhere and it's too late to undo what has been done.

I just don't feel good about it..I just do not know why..

And to tell you the truth, i do have a good gut feeling and she knows it.

But i'm just a boyfriend after all..

I can't control her doings like as if she is my wife.

So.. something for you guys out there who wantsto control your girl so much..

i think you're better off single..

Seriously..

There is a limit to everything..

So if you think your girlfriends are over those limits or it goes against our religion like mine does sometimes,

then we as the boyfriend have the RIGHT to ADVICE..

I repeat.. ADVICE..

Talk to them nicely and they will eventually listen.

And Suhaila, my lovely sayang.. I know that sometimes we don't want things to happen

But trust me that i will always LOVE and CARE for YOU, ok??

MmmmUacKs8!!!

Mun signing off.. Ciaoz
It was supposed to be something to celebrate about..

Something to be proud of on all his overtimes and hard work.

But sometimes, things just have to happen.

And that topic has to come up again.

Sometimes, I feel that I'm not being cared of or thought of..

But I know he does.

Its just the way the situation is, I guess..

Maybe I am going against the relationship ethics.

But I believe in myself that as long as I am able to control and draw that line between us,

I am not doing something wrong.

Its what I wish to do and its something that would make someone happy.

And knowing me, I love making people happy, seeing their smiles, hearing their laughters.

Perhaps I've seen or experienced too much sadness in my life.

That I feel its fair that my loved ones does not experience that.

Gemuk finally got his confirmation status!

YEAH!!

He actually made me run from the living room to his room, thinking something happened because he shouted my name out loud.

Then there it was, his confirmation status sent.

Congratulations!

I was so damn happy!

After 3 months of efforts that he was on the verge of giving up, with unfixed leave and overtime, it was worthwhile sayang. Really worthwhile..

Last Saturday, there was a big hoo-haa at MacDonalds Bedok.

What else but Dee's party!

It was a blasting surprise and blasting fun!

Even though the party hostess was err, not good, we had whole lot of laughters, watching the birthday girl's silly antics.

And Dee.. I have videos of your scared balloon popping moments.. plus that saucy push-up deal!!

Enjoy!

Bouquet for the birthday one.

The early birds.

So Friday was the special day and yes, like finally he had something planned out for the whole day.

Day started out at 2pm just right after Friday prayers!

And please bear with me because we made like plenty of stops for the whole day!

E!hub.. I needed like a really quick drink so a drop-by MacDonalds for really cooling Iced-Milo. And since he wanted to watch a Midnight movie, so tickets for Quantum of Solace reserved.

He drove around and with me beside with the Street Directory Book, trying to look for Horticulture Park and giving directions. Directions through the AYE and the roads after that. The park was placed at Hyderabad Road which is somewhere the Kent Ridge bridge.

And Oh My Goodness!! Wasn't it like beautiful!! He knew that I just loved nature, (ya, I instill the love for nature ever since my contract years, where I was in charge of the Eco-Garden.) so Horticulture Park it was. It is short-called by Hort Park and it had like different themes for different areas. It was really euphoristic and just plain admirable scenery.

We acted like small kids there and I was snapping as usual. My favourite was the cactus corner. Let me just tell you that the cactus was so fresh and I could even took my time, identifying the different cactuses.

After all that viewing, it was off to the next stop. The thing that kept my boyfriend shocked the whole day was, an hour in the park but the parking fee was only.. $0.02. He was stunned that he almost did an emergency brake. Hee..

Yours truly was hungry and I am not going to wait till night for a meal. So I asked for Popeyes, a drop by Singpore Flyer for food. My tummy was churning and turning for it was deprived of food for almost 20 hours.

A terrible thing happened to the boyfriend. He has abrasions near his thighs, up abit (somewhere there, I think) and that caused him tremendous pain. We went around Marina Square, looking for Vaseline lotion, which lasted for a moment before it acted up again. Resorting to plasters to stick it up there but it didn't work too. We even had time to stop and listen to the performance by Cats in the Cradle, which he thought was not up to standard.

Esplanade for him to get a rest for his thighs, in the drizzle. There was also a Cantonese performance, which we danced throughout with. Really Old School Songs!

We drove around the city area with me just waving around to passer-bys and blasting music while being so childish and crazy.

Changi Beach to enjoy the sea breeze and watching people go fishing.

Changi Village for our Sugar Cane Drinks before heading back to E!hub for our movie.

Quantum of Solace was good! Seriously, I hated James Bond when the former old guy was in the movie. I thought it was just plain oldies. But this Daniel Crig was so charismatic in the movie. Even though I didn't understand the story line and the different association, the show was good!

His abrasive thighs was asking for help, so this boy had this brilliant idea to put salonpas on them and damn, he was feeling the hotness of it around his thighs, higher abit. Haha!

OH!! Did I tell you this? We were at the big carpark in front of E!hub and he was putting that Salonpas. Since he needed some private time, I was shocked to see this minah running in and out from the heavy vehicles section. Then a half naked man came out, pulled her back in. I was so excited that I told my boyfriend who was busy with himself and I got scolded instead. "Sayang, jangan kepo ok? Just let them be.."

I was just excited because I never experienced all this night scene thing. But he told me, "You know, nowadays there are lots of girls like this. So no surprise."

And I was like, "Really! I thought there was only a handful of pompan-pompan sundal??"

I was that jakun and that two-bit minded.

Jalan Kayu for really late supper! And I was surprised that it was full house even though it was almost 3 am in the morning. Well, it was mostly filled with mat motors. So surprise, since Yishun Dam is so nearby.

We headed off to this carpark as he needed to relax and stop driving. Its a manual car so, give him a break! We just on the ignition so at least, we get to feel the air-con and the radio. But within half an hour, the car was down! We totally forgot about the battery! So the car didn't had battery and we needed a car to help jumpstart the engine. Imagine it was 4 am in the morning and it was raining and there was not a single huan being around until like 15 minutes later, there was a group of guys around our age who was there, looking for a missing wallet. So they helped us to jumpstart the engine in the rain.

I made an observation at every carpark we stop at, after midnite, there was a police car patrolling the vicinity. Cars which had people in it, they would stop for slow down or a while. I said to him that I should have gotten out of the car and stop the patrol car and said "Is it illegal to be in the car in the wee hours that you have to stop and look?" Actually, it was just to vent my anger on the cars who actually on their high beams that made my eyes so silau la!

He then had to drive around because the battery can only be recharged if the engine keeps running! We headed back to Changi like at 5 am as I was urgently needing the toilet.

There was this 2 teenagers who was sprawled on the floor in front of the toilet, sleeping in his own vomit. And the girlfriend was just cooped up by the side. I told boyfriend, "Should we help them? Pitiful sey!"

And he said, "Never mind. Its common. They will wake up and go home by themselves."

Seriously, I need to go out more and see more of the outside world. Actually, the night world.

Damn, the sun was about to rise and there were still Bapoks lurking around for customers la!! There was this Ah-Pek taxi driver who even sempat pick one up. Oh Goodness!! And one of them even had the time to check my boyfriend out and played eyes, WITH ME BESIDE HIM! Sheesh!!

After the whole trip, both of us were very damn tired and one last thing to do. To watch the sunrise. I always wanted to watch the sunrise and I never did before. So we waited for sun to rise and I finally managed to catch the sunrise after 21 years of my life. Haha!

And he really had the time of his life, seeing me stepping of grass to reach the waterbreaker!

After all that, we sent the car back and it was home sweet home!

* Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude. *

I love my Boyfriend because..

1) He is my best friend.

He was the one who was always there for me through those few months, who shared my tears, my fears and my happiness. He was the one who would comfort me through all my troubles and make stupid but funny jokes to make me laugh. He would also bring me out on a "foodathon" on hungry days.

2) He knows how to control me and keep me to my limits.

Unlike all my other boyfriends, he is the only one who is able to tame me and listen to him and his likes or dislikes, instead of me just trying to do my own things and being hard and hot- headed. With him here, I know he is there to help me know my limits in terms of physical appearance, habits and not keeping late nights and wasting my life out there still. With his help, I am able to realise that whatever I am doing back in the days were unsuitable and must be kept to limits.

3) He is someone who is able to guide me.

Seriously, I have an almost, let me repeat, almost, an ustaz boyfriend beside me. He likes to give me syarahan or in english, its called sermons on religion. What is right and what is wrong. Tata tertib of a Gadis Melayu and ahlak-ahlak I should keep and those I should throw away. He would sometimes also quote the hadiths Rasul to give the big picture. Irritated, yes I am but I know, he means well.

4) He is able to accept me for who I am now and what I was.

Seriously, looking back at my past, I had a pretty dirty, unpleasant past. I took a almost 2 years to forget all those dark stuff. Every single night, I would just blame myself for all the things I have done. I am someone who would start a relationship with myself and who I was. Some of others would bring back my past to bring me down when we argued. That made me feel bad and keep blaming for all the things I did. But, this one was different. He made me embrace all those past, asking me to accept it and learn from all that and be a better person. He listened and accepted all that. That, I was touched.

5) He is Muhammad Muntazir bin Taib, who loves me more and I mean the world to him!

He is someone whom I believe is too nice, too honest, too loyal for a girl like me. I remember I used to say when we were still friends, "You will find much better and worthy for you. You are too nice a person that the girl will be very lucky to have you." Well, who knows I was the lucky girl. Sometimes, I feel so unworthy for you. But God has his plans. If everything works out well between us, I will be so grateful and obviously, I will treasure you like a precious diamond. And yes, you mean so much to me and I do love you. That much. sings* "sedalam-dalamnya lautan India.. Lebih dalam lagi cinta ku padanya.."

2 more days to half a year of relationship, looking forward another 6 months to a full year!

I slept at 5 am in the morning and I am awake since an hour ago.

Oh my gosh!

My eyes will seriously suffer.

Been sick since Thursday.. After Mustaffa outing with Marlon.

Oh my gosh!

I took my medicine religiously but still..

Oh my gosh..

K, since I have so much time in the whole world now till the boyfriend wakes up.

So last week events please!!

Wednesday:

As we all know, it was payday!

So it was buy-presents day with Mal after her shift.

She bought organisers for us! Wee.. My rainbow stripes!!

And I bought this bag which contain markers inside.

Sumpah it was so adorable that I just had to get it!

Takashimaya for wallets and MacDonalds for Supper.

Serious.. I think it was Supper by the time we ended our search for presents.

Thursday:

it was Marlon's Day!

Haha!

I actually kicked my plans with my boyfriend so that I could spend time with this boy.

A lookalike emotional Mat.

He needs time out, seriously.

And he actually took a day off from work!

Mustaffa it was, for presents and we got Sha a beautiful Levis watch and JB an Adidas bag.

He was tremendously sweet that he asked this stranger for tissue, seeing I had a hard time with my running nose.

Sungei Rd for flea markets and Bugis for his best friend's present.

LJS for dinner, and bought him Chewy Juniors for dessert to bring back to camp.

Seriously, I didn't know that he was hard up for girls that he said this,

"When I go out of camp, I look at girls like as if they are angels!"

Haha!! I was petrified-shocked-funny that it got me laughing hard!

It was also the day it got me sick.

Friday:

Buy Presents Day with Dee.

Since we already knew what to buy for our dearest Mal, we spent full quality time in the Fossil boutique.

Choosing, caressing all the watches there, picking the nice pretty one among all there.

A card for Mal and time spent window shop before heading home to sleep.

Sunday:

SHF day!!

Tee hee!!

Fish & co. for celebrations.

It was so fun meeting them again after 4 full months!

Seriously, we rocked Fish & co. for being the noisiest of all!

Fish and chips and swordfish collar bone.

Passion Fruit and Gin Tonic, which they tricked me that Gin Tonic was actually vodka, plus some other shots.

And I actually believed it!

Ben & Jerry for desserts and presents for both birthday boys!

Boys, its the thought that counts okay!

Monday:

Food Packing Day at Yio Chu Kang Bungalow for Food from the Heart.

Its a non-profitable association who gives out food for the needy families.

So we helped the organisation to pack them into bags. Almost 140 of them.

It was tiring but it was worthwhile.

Pictures were taken for evidence that we were actually there packing!

Due to some irritating assistant we have.
