The objective of our 1st,
Recession time, must cut cost. Throw all romantic times, and come cheap, fun day!
The early morning started with us hanging on the phone, wishing each other at 12 midnight. I mean, we do that every single month!! haha.
We started the bright Thursday morning, watching the crowning of Kris Allen as Idol (yea!!). Thereafter, we had some healthy breakfast at Afghanistan, chicken and meat porridge, accompanied by really katai-katai punye Kopi and Teh tarik. The double bus ride took us to East Coast for some good, old, tired but fun cycling. We headed to Bedok Jetty or maybe further, with stop-overs at the Bouganvillae Garden and the Food Centre for some sugarcane with lemon.
Mind you, the weather was so hot and humid. We were perspiring like nobody's business. After a whole 2 hours of that, we headed to Kebab Station for some turkish delicacies. Sedap okay the chicken wings! It was sour-sour yet sweet-sweet all in one. After all that, I TER-hailed a cab to get us to our next destination, Plaza Singapura for 'Angels & Demons'. I love the movie! It was predictable, even though I have read the book years ago but forgot how the story went. After which, we took the bus to Bedok for a dinner at the Bedok Food Centre (please eh, the nasi ayam there sedap okay!) and headed to Tampines to get those lovely cupcakes. Thank you, Hana! Those were lovely cakes.
The night ended early because we were tired and we were perspiring like no one's business, even at night.
