This phrase, "In the eyes of the Society."
I was having this conversation with my sister, okay, more of a debate going to be a quarrel thing.
"Thin is beautiful"
And who says that? Society.
So if Society say, eating shit is a cool thing, why don't everyone of us do that?
I have all the biggest problem with this society thing.
Because I believe that an individual has their own choices and their intellectual mind to vary what is right and wrong, create their own beliefs from how they see the world and their upbringing.
So why are people stereotyping by what the society say?
Back to the thin is beautiful topic, why can't it be fat is beautiful?
I have seen lots of people who are fat but they are beautiful, physically. I can name tons already.
And even though they are fat, they are the most secure and confident people around themselves than the thin people who keeps saying "I need to lose weight. I'm fat."
Baby, you are so thin!! How can you say you are fat? Believe me, thin people are mostly insecure and keeps saying they are fat, because I used to be one of them.
And for me, fat people are the gerek-est people to hang out with because like I say, they feel secure and comfortable with themselves, that it is easy to joke around, you know.
Like, kau nie gemok la.. Then, they will answer, Gemok2 tapi aku lawa and baik hati.
And I truly agree. And trust me they won't take it to heart.
But you say that to thin people, they say, "Really???! Am i fat??" and they will panic and look at their bodies non-stop when they get home. Trust me, because I used to be one of them too.
And one of the gemok people I can name which have all the qualities, is my boyfriend. He is someone who is secure about himself and comfortable with how he look like.
I am not trying to defend myself, because I am not fat. Okay, a little fat. I am just, in malay terms, berisi.
And i feel that it is time people try not to be narrow minded or have a one way mind about the stereotypes of society. Because if you do, you are the most dumbest person and with that kind of mindset, you have not seen or enjoy the wonders of the world in a different perspective. There is more to that, believe me, because I used to be one of those stereotypers but now, with an open mind, I see, hear and learn things about others.
Its not just about the fat and thin, but those who were addicts, who had bad backgrounds or convicts or even gays or tranvestites or anything that society say is bad. People tend to criticise them and run away from them, but you go closer, you see lots of things the society never see and how baseless their assumptions are.
