Love the someone, embrace the past
Today, I am feeling lovey dovey, thks to my beautiful boyfriend.
I was reading some tweets from a few acquantainces (is that how you spell it?) and the words 'break' and 'past' inspired me for this entry.
Everyone has a past. It can be good or bad or in some cases, worst past you can ever imagine. So the one you love happens to be the one who has the bad or worst past, will you still accept him or her? If you do, I would say your heart is beautiful and strong BUT depends on how your reaction is while in the relationship.
Come on people, if you love that someone, embrace the past that he or she used to have, not 'ganyah die dengan lebih cili.' What I meant by this phrase means, don't bloody hell bring up all the stuff he or she has done before they were with you. This always happens in a bad, really bad fight, when you don't think what you say will hurt the other party more.
That will in fact make you feel horrible, because I used to be the one who got screamed at by my past and I used to be the person that screamed at the other party for their past. After all that is done, its both parties that are hurt in the end. N believe me, these 2 reasons are the roots of failure for my previous relationships.
If you love someone, embrace him or her with their shortcomings and faults, and their past. Love them for who they are. Don't let their history affect you because we are only human. We make wrong choices through some paths throughout our life. If they are willing to change for the better and not repeat their mistakes, then stop all the 'ungkit-ungkit' nonsense.
Because you are hurting yourself and others.
